As members of the Solar Energy Association of New Zealand (SEANZ), we can automatically pass on to our customers access to low - or no - interest sustainable energy bank loans for installing greener heating options in their homes. The ‘Big Five’ are ASB, ANZ, Westpac, Kiwibank and BNZ, but all NZ banks offer some type of green energy financial assistance. Our membership also means we’re committed to continuing education and training, so that we can provide the best possible service as standard.
Finance Options
ANZ Good Energy Home Loan
If you have a home loan with ANZ, you can apply for 1.00% P.A. fixed rate for 3 years, up to $80,000. Eligibility criteria applies.
ASB Better Homes Top Up
If you have a home loan with ASB, you can apply for 1.00% P.A. fixed rate for 3 years, up to $80,000 to help make your home drier, warmer or more energy efficient. Min 20% Equity and eligibility criteria applies
BNZ Green Home Loan Top-ups
You could borrow up to $80,000 at 1% P.A. fixed rate for 3 years to pay for eligible upgrades to your home. This includes related costs for planning and installation.
Kiwibank Sustainability Loan
Kiwibank will contribute $2,000 over 4 years towards the cost of a system. If you're already a Kiwibank Home Loan customer, they'll waive the home loan top-up fee.
Westpac Greater Choices Home Loan
Enjoy up to $50,000 interest free for 5 years to help you create a more energy efficient home. This loan is available for new or current Westpac Choices home loan customers.
